Healing Begins with Being Heard

Compassionate, evidence-based therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction recovery. A warm, judgment-free space where you can find clarity, resilience, and a path forward.

Biography

I am a member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC) and Addiction Practitioners’ Association Aotearoa New Zealand (DAPAANZ) with a master’s degree in Psychology and several years of experience providing mental health support across diverse clinical settings. My background includes working with individuals and families presenting with trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, and significant life stressors. I have experience in crisis intervention and delivering both individual and group-based therapeutic support.

My practice is guided by evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Focused ACT (FACT). I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to explore their experiences at their own pace. My approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, and centred on supporting clients to build resilience, develop meaningful coping strategies, and move toward improved wellbeing and quality of life.

Types of Support Offered

We meet you where you are and help bridge the gap to the life you want to live

and the person you want to become.

Anxiety & Depression

Anxiety and depression have become common mental health challenges in our modern world. Counselling is one of the most effective ways to manage symptoms. Once we've assessed your situation, we'll formulate a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Trauma

Trauma therapy helps you deal with the emotional response caused by traumatic events. We focus on understanding how trauma impacts your mental, emotional, and physical well-being, and aim to alleviate symptoms and promote healing.

Addictions & Recovery

If you're concerned about addiction or addictive behaviour, beginning counselling can be a step toward regaining control. We'll help you manage your addiction and understand the distress that caused the behaviour in the first place.
